Overview

Flag Frenzy Football Ltd is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants, staff and visitors at our camps. This Health & Safety Policy sets out how we manage safety before and during camp.


1. Responsibilities

  • The Camp Director holds overall responsibility for health and safety.
  • All staff are trained in safeguarding, first aid and emergency procedures.
  • Parents/guardians must provide accurate medical and emergency details.

2. Venue & Equipment Safety

  • Venues are risk-assessed before camp begins.
  • Playing areas are checked daily for hazards.
  • Equipment is age-appropriate, regularly inspected, and used safely.

3. Emergencies & First Aid

  • A qualified first aider is present at all times.
  • First aid kits are accessible at every camp location.
  • In serious cases, emergency services will be contacted immediately and parents informed.

4. Child Supervision

  • Staff-to-child ratios meet or exceed recommended guidelines.
  • Children are supervised at all times during activities.
  • Clear procedures are in place for drop-off, pick-up, and sign-in/out.

5. Review

This policy is reviewed before each camp and updated if needed to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice.
