Parent Handbook (For Parents/Guardians)

Flag Frenzy Football Camp

Effective date: 31 August 2025

Location: United Kingdom

Welcome

Thank you for choosing Flag Frenzy Football Camp! We’re excited to welcome your child for a week of fun, learning and teamwork. This handbook covers daily routines, what to bring, key policies, and how to contact us.

Our mission is simple: create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment where children learn flag football, build friendships and grow in confidence — on and off the field.

Heads up: Sections with rules (refunds, safeguarding, late pick-up) read a little more formal so expectations are crystal clear.

Behaviour & Expectations

We want every child to feel safe and included. Campers are expected to:

  • Respect themselves, others and staff.
  • Listen to instructions and play safely.
  • Show good sportsmanship and teamwork.

We operate zero tolerance for bullying, swearing, fighting, or deliberate rule-breaking. Parents will be contacted if behaviour becomes a concern. See our Behaviour Policy for detail.

Health, Safety & Welfare

  • All staff are DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding.
  • A qualified First Aider is on site each day; first aid kits are available.
  • Tell us about allergies, medical needs or additional needs before camp starts.
  • Medication must be handed to staff at registration with written instructions.
Illness & accidents
If a child becomes unwell, we will contact you for collection. For minor injuries, first aid will be administered and recorded. In an emergency we will call the emergency services and then contact you immediately.
Severe weather & contingency
Activities may be adjusted for heat, rain or high winds. We will pause play if conditions become unsafe and use sheltered areas where possible. Please send weather-appropriate clothing.

Extras & Quick FAQs

Lunch & Allergens

Please pack a balanced lunch. We are a nut-aware camp — avoid nut products. Tell us about allergies in advance and on the medical form.

Lost Property

We keep a lost property box at the sign-in desk. Label everything. Unclaimed items are kept for two weeks after camp.

Phones & Devices

We discourage devices at camp. If brought for travel, they must stay in bags and are the family’s responsibility.

Photos & Social Media

We only take/use photos if you’ve given consent. You can change your preference any time — just email us.
